The Promise of Jesus' Presence

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Mateus 28:20NVI
This verse concludes the Gospel of Matthew with the Great Commission. After giving authority to His disciples to make other disciples, Jesus offers the greatest security a Christian can have: His continuous and uninterrupted presence. He does not send us alone on the mission but walks beside us every step of the journey. In practice, this means that in moments of loneliness, fear, or uncertainty, Jesus' promise remains valid. He didn't just promise to be with us on good days, but 'always,' which includes the valleys and the difficulties. His presence is what gives us the courage to obey His commandments. For your daily life, remember that you are never forsaken. Whether at work, in family life, or in ministry, the Spirit of Christ dwells in you. Live with the confidence of someone who knows that the King of the universe himself is your constant companion until the end of time.
