Practicing Love for Others

Do to others as you would have them do to you.
Lucas 6:31NVI
This verse, widely known as the Golden Rule, summarizes Christian ethics in relationships. Jesus invites us to move beyond selfishness and exercise empathy, transforming how we interact with people in our daily lives. In practice, this means we shouldn't just avoid doing harm, but actively seek the good of others. If we want to be heard, we must listen; if we want understanding, we must be understanding. It is a call to take the initiative in love. By applying this principle, we reflect the character of God, who loved us first. When we treat others with the dignity we wish to receive, we build bridges of peace and demonstrate the transformative power of the Gospel through our social attitudes.
