Courage and God's Presence

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Josué 1:9NVI

In this scripture, God speaks directly to Joshua during a critical transition. Moses had passed away, and the weight of leading Israel into the Promised Land now fell on his shoulders. This divine command wasn't based on Joshua's self-confidence, but on the absolute guarantee of God's companionship every step of the way. For us today, this promise remains alive. Being strong and courageous doesn't mean the absence of fear, but the decision to keep moving forward despite it, trusting that the Lord is greater than any challenge. Discouragement loses its grip when we realize we never walk alone, no matter where our feet take us. Apply this principle by staying calm in times of uncertainty. Remember that your strength doesn't come from your own abilities, but from the constant presence of the Creator. When the world feels intimidating, rest in the promise that the God who guided Joshua is the same one looking out for you today.
