The security of trusting in God
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”
This verse from Proverbs invites us to a total surrender. Trusting with all your heart means recognizing that our human vision is limited and that we often try to solve everything using only our own logic, which can lead to paths of anxiety and frustration.
The author doesn't discard intelligence but warns against self-sufficiency. When we decide not to lean solely on our own understanding, we create space for divine wisdom, allowing God's peace to guide our steps even when circumstances seem confusing.
In practice, this means praying before deciding and resting after you've done your part. It is a daily exercise of letting go of control and believing that the Creator has a much broader and kinder perspective on our life story.
