Renewing Strength in the Lord
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
This verse reminds us of God's sovereignty over human fatigue. In moments of physical or spiritual exhaustion, the Bible teaches us that the source of our energy does not lie in our own effort, but in the trust placed in the One who is eternal and does not grow tired.
Waiting on the Lord is not a passive attitude, but an exercise in faith and patience. Like the eagle that uses air currents to rise without constantly flapping its wings, we are also invited to rest in divine providence to reach new heights.
The practical application for today is to hand over your anxieties and trust in God's timing. When we stop trying to solve everything with our own hands, we allow the Holy Spirit to renew our spirit, enabling us to walk with perseverance and without giving up.
