The New Life Surrendered to Christ

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Gálatas 2:20NVI
This verse summarizes the essence of Christian transformation. Paul explains that our old nature, marked by sin and selfishness, was symbolically crucified with Jesus. By accepting the sacrifice of the cross, we begin a journey where we no longer seek our own interests, but allow the character of Christ to shine through us. Living by faith in the Son of God means fully trusting in the love of the One who gave Himself voluntarily for us. It is not a life based on rigid rules, but on a relationship of gratitude and surrender. Christ's presence within us empowers us to act with more love, patience, and kindness in all situations. In practice, this truth frees us from the weight of trying to be perfect by our own strength. When we understand that He lives in us, we find rest and security. Today, you can walk with the certainty that you are never alone, for God Himself dwells in your heart, guiding your every step with mercy.
