The Foundation of True Faith

so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.
1 Coríntios 2:5NVI
In this letter, Paul emphasizes that the Gospel does not depend on complex philosophical arguments or human oratory, but on the direct manifestation of divine power. The faith that transforms lives is not the result of isolated intellect, but of a real encounter with the Holy Spirit. Often, we try to explain God only through logic, but the apostle reminds us that our trust must be anchored in what God does and who He is. This brings us security, for human wisdom is changeable, but the power of God is eternal and unshakable. In practice, living this verse means resting in God's sovereignty instead of despairing while trying to solve everything through one's own intelligence. When we allow God's power to act in our weakness, our faith becomes a solid rock that withstands any intellectual or emotional storm.
