The Certainty of Our Divine Help

This psalm, known as a Song of Ascents, was sung by pilgrims traveling toward Jerusalem. By looking at the mountains, the psalmist recognizes that true protection doesn't come from geography or human hands, but from the Creator of all things. It is a declaration of total dependence and absolute trust. In practice, this verse invites us to shift our focus from our difficulties to the greatness of God. We can rest in the certainty that the Lord does not sleep and is always attentive to our journey. The same power that established the heavens and the earth is available to help us, offering peace that surpasses understanding and strength to overcome daily challenges with renewed hope.
