Finding rest and hope in the Lord

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.
Salmos 62:5NVI
In this Psalm, David invites us to a posture of deep inner trust. In a world full of noise and uncertainty, he directs his own soul to seek silence and rest exclusively in God, recognizing that human sources are limited and often fail. Resting in God does not mean passivity, but rather an active surrender of anxiety. When we place our hope in the Creator, we stop being shaken by external circumstances, for our foundation is established on the unshakeable rock that is the divine character. In practice, this verse teaches us to filter the voices we hear and to prioritize the voice of God. When we decide that our expectation comes from Him, we are freed from the pressure of finding immediate answers in ourselves, allowing the peace that transcends all understanding to guard our hearts.
