The peace that comes from trusting God

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Salmos 46:10NVI
This verse is a divine invitation to stop the frantic flow of worries and acknowledge God's sovereignty. In its original context, Psalm 46 celebrates God's protection amidst the chaos of nations and nature, reminding us that He is our refuge and strength. Applying 'being still' doesn't mean passivity, but rather an active surrender. It is the act of silencing the heart before uncertainties, trusting that the Lord has absolute control over history and our personal lives. When we stop fighting with our own strength, we open up space to perceive God's greatness. This trust allows us to live with hope, knowing that regardless of external circumstances, He will be exalted and His will shall prevail.
