Strength Found in Waiting
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
In this Psalm, David expresses unshakable confidence in God, even when surrounded by enemies and danger. The invitation to wait for the Lord is not a call to passivity, but rather a state of active trust, where we lay our anxiety at the Creator's feet while awaiting His perfect intervention.
In Christian practice, being strong and courageous means maintaining faith when the circumstances around us seem uncertain. It is understanding that God's time is different from ours and that, during the waiting period, He works on our character, strengthening our spiritual resilience and renewing our strength for the challenges ahead.
