Humility Under God’s Care

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.”

This verse invites us to recognize divine sovereignty in all areas of life. Humbling oneself under God's mighty hand doesn't mean inferiority; rather, it is an absolute trust that He is in control of circumstances, watching over every detail with His protective strength. Practically, this posture frees us from the anxiety of trying to control the future. When we set aside pride and self-sufficiency, we make room for God's grace to work within us, shaping our character and preparing us for what He has in store. God's timing is perfect. The promise of exaltation isn't a prize for the ego, but a confirmation that faithfulness and patience are honored by Him. Resting in the Lord’s timing is the surest path to a life of peace and purpose.
