I close my eyes and I can still see that little boy running through the yard with scraped knees. Seeing you now in your cap and gown, with that look of someone who knows exactly what they want from the world, gives me the best kind of lump in my throat. I always knew you'd go far, but seeing you cross this finish line right in front of me is the greatest joy life has given me. I'm overflowing with pride and holding back tears so I don't embarrass myself!
